Cippenham finally scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot when Paul Gardner was fouled by the Wargrave keeper. Karl Oliver calmly stroked home the spot kick and Cippenham pulled another goal back courtesy of an Andrew Townshend 25 yard screamer. Wargrave restored there four goal lead with a neatly taken breakaway goal as Cippenham piled forward in search of further goals. James Nunn went close for Cippenham and they were denied another consolation goal late on by a third goal line clearance.
