BREAKING NEWS;- The TRANSFER of Karl Oliver to Division TWO side Delaford Colts is a serious blow to our Division One survival hopes, however we have a ready made replacement in recent signing James Sutton who appears to be built in the Karl Oliver mould. We have also signed TWO more players eager to help us in our fight to avoid relegation/ hour of need.

TRAINING is held on TUESDAY evenings, 7.00pm kick-off @ Herschal Grammar School and will do so until the last Tuesday in March. (It’s still only £2 per session, despite a slight rise in hire costs, now £40 per/hr)

MEMBERSHIP for both Saturday and Sunday football remains at a paltry £15. Match Fees remain at £3 for Saturday’s and £2 for Sunday’s, however you will be required to wash the kit at least once a season on Sunday’s. The following have paid:- (7/3/10)

Cippenham Sports:- Jamie Dunning, Sean Ryan, James Nunn, Garry Pyper, Keith Oswald, Robert McDermott, Aktar Zaman, Pete Collins, Luke Batting, Ben Hancock, Andrew Townshend, Stuart Phillips, Stephen Hickey & Chris Cumming

B.W.M.C. F.C.:- Aktar Zaman, Andrew Cumming, Chris Cumming, James Nunn, Sean Ryan, Garry Pyper, Scott Barton, Lozza Moore, Bob McEwen, Martyn Kingsbury & Kelon McPherson, Tom Bryant & Michael Burfoot.

FINES apply only to Cippenham Sports players, levied at the end of each game and payable at the end of each month, the monies going towards the end of season drink. (Which will be an 80’s themed night this season, at Burnham Working Men’s Club)

B.W.M.C. F.C. are obviously being sponsored by Burnham Working Men’s Club again which means they expect us to go back there after our games for a drink or two, also we are obliged to hold TWO functions there so please make an effort. (End of season & Presentation)

POSTCARDS FROM ABROAD is a page on the website dedicated to Holiday photo's featuring a Cippenham Sports mug. If you are going away to somewhere exotic which isn't already featured on the page, I'll provide you with a mug so you can take a couple of pictures for the website.

SCOTTISH BANDWAGON PAGE has been updated following my trip to Ochilview, the home ground of Stenhousemuir F.C. in August.

WEBSITE anyone wishing to have there player profile updated please let me know.

END OF SEASON DO this year is EIGHTIES themed and a preliminary date has been set for FRIDAY 21st MAY at Burnham Working Men's Club. Again it will be fancy dress based on 80's Film, Music, Culture etc. The Evening is open to players from both clubs past and present, with the current players benefitting from a drinks kitty made up of fines from Cippenham players and funds from Burnham W.M.C. players. There will be a prize for the best dressed male and female and a raffle with some or if not all the prizes donated by players. An 80's themed buffet will also be on site with food again provided by volunteers, I'll be making another bowl of punch (Food worked out really well last time and my punch went down a storm), and of course the music will be 80's based. I've got dibs on Maverick from Top Gun and I'm now looking for someone to be my wingman, Pyper's called dibs on Robocop and "T" has called shotgun on Teenwolf. I've put the fancy dress shop I got my outfit from last year on the links page for future reference.

GOLF the Cippenham Sports Open Golf Classic was held on Monday 28th DECEMBER at Birds Hill Golf Course. For full details and the result see the Golf Page on the website.
