The Presentation Evening went well with only Steven Beck & Frans Letsoalo unable to attend. The trophies were presented by manager Jamie Dunning and everyone accepted there Awards (Good or Bad) with enthusiasm and in some cases uncontrolled joy (Karl Oliver, Worst Excuse). You will notice that a few of the Awards were won with only a few votes (E.g. Sportsman and Whinger) this is due to the fact that we have loads of whinging sportsmen in our team. However worthy winners on the night were Keith Oswald (Goal of the Season), Garry Pyper (Players/Player), Andrew Townshend (MVP), Ben Hancock (Sportsman of the Year) and recent signing Frans Letsoalo (Most Improved). Before leaving the club Karl Oliver missed a game after picking up an injury playing NETBALL, yes NETBALL against some butch girls. James Nunn wore the worst dressed player award to the Presentation Evening where I picked up the Award for wearing some apparently suspect socks. |
