Votes) |

The Presentation Evening went well with only Matty G,
Steven Beck & Jamie unable to attend. The trophies were presented by
assistant manager Stephen Hickey and everyone accepted there
Awards (Good or Bad) with enthusiasm and in some cases
uncontrolled joy (Ben Hancock, Worst Excuse).
You will notice that a few of the Awards
were won with only a few votes (E.g. Miss, Sportsman and Whinger) this
is due to the fact that we have loads of whinging sportsmen who miss
sitters in our team. However worthy winners on the night were Keith
Oswald (Top Goalscorer), Chris & Tom (Players/Player), Garry, Stephen &
Chris (MVP), Gavin Neighbour (Goal of the Season) and rookie Chris
Cumming (Most Improved).
On the eve of a very important semi-final i
expected my players to be in bed by 10.00pm after eating a healthy meal.
However, Ben Hancock chose to go out and although he didn't drink much,
he got the munchies and ate a dodgy burger which gave him food poisoning
thus ruling himself out of semi-final and thereby retaining the worst
excuse award. James Nunn won the worst dressed player award with an ill
fitting skin tight vest, last seasons winner Karl Oliver is wearing the
award which James has promised to wear at next season Presentation
Evening. |
